The editorial and proofreading services I offer, are very flexible and tailored to your unique needs. In order to assess your requirements, and discuss your goals, we can arrange a free, no obligation zoom call of up to 1 hour. I’m also happy to edit a sample section of your work to help us discuss the level of editing or proofreading you might need.
As a guide, editing services are charged at £10 per thousand words but this is flexible depending on the level of input you need.
If you are using the editing service, proofreading is included in the cost.
The proofreading guide price is £8 per thousand words as a stand-alone service. Again, this depends on the input level required and could be less for a light touch service.
For longer texts, such as novels, a complete price for the package can be agreed upon after a sample edit has been completed. This will give us both a chance to agree on the level of edit required and the length of time it’s likely to take.
