My name’s Amanda and I’m a qualified copyeditor and proofreader with a background in education, having worked as a primary school teacher for over 25 years.
Once my two gorgeous chicks had flown the nest, I accepted a voluntary teaching role in Zambia. Unfortunately, this incredible experience was cut short by the pandemic so I decided to try something completely different. I’m now living on a narrowboat with my partner and a feisty bundle of love in jack russell form!
My love of language and literacy led me to pursue additional training with the College of Media and Publishing and establish my freelance proofreading and copyediting services.
